01 · SCOPE

Scope and acceptance

These Terms of Use apply to the NonoNotes app, account and membership services, and related website. By downloading, accessing, or using the Services, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

The NonoNotes app obtained through the App Store is also subject to the Apple Standard End User License Agreement. These terms supplement the rules for NonoNotes accounts, membership, and the invite program and do not replace your agreements with Apple.

02 · ACCOUNT

Accounts and Sign in with Apple

• Core Nono Starter note-taking does not require sign-in.
• Sign in with Apple is required to purchase, restore, or manage Nono Unlimited, join the invite program, and submit feedback in the app.
• Protect your Apple account and device. Actions initiated through your account are treated as authorized by you.
• See the NonoNotes Privacy Policy for how account data is handled.

03 · MEMBERSHIP & PAYMENT

Nono Starter

Free to use, with up to 25 notes and up to 5 pages in each notebook

Nono Unlimited

Nono Unlimited offers monthly and yearly auto-renewing plans. Before you confirm, the purchase screen displays the plan name, subscription term, local price, and current benefits, including:

• unlimited notes and pages;
• Goodnotes and Notability imports plus advanced image and export tools;
• additional themes, custom fonts, expanded white-noise controls, and PDF page margins; and
• automatic backup to Google Drive, OneDrive, or Baidu Netdisk.

The App Store charges your Apple account when you confirm a purchase. The subscription renews for the selected term unless you cancel before the end of the current period as required by Apple. Renewal pricing is subject to the price shown by the App Store and any price-change notice Apple provides.

Apple subscription offer codes

Subscription offer codes provided by Apple are subject to Apple’s redemption rules and may not be sold or exchanged for cash.

Invite Friends program

During the offer, signed-in users can share an invite code. An invited friend must enter a valid code within 3 days of registering and must not have received referral membership before. Each account can receive an invitee reward only once; deleting or re-registering an account does not reset this eligibility record.

• After the invitation is confirmed, the inviter and invited friend each receive 1 month of membership. Both receive another month after the invited friend completes their first eligible membership purchase.
• Restored purchases, free trials, offer redemptions, renewals, refunds, and revoked transactions do not count as a first purchase.
• There is no limit on invitations or total rewards. Rewards begin immediately when there is no active membership; if membership is active without auto-renewal, rewards begin after the current term.
• If paid membership is auto-renewing, rewards remain available and begin consecutively after auto-renewal is turned off and the current paid term ends. Reward time does not overlap with paid time.
• Self-referrals, false or bulk registrations, and other abuse are not eligible. We may cancel related rewards or restrict participation.

Regions, offer dates, and current rules are shown in the app. To the extent permitted by law, we may modify, pause, or end the program; confirmed rewards without violations will not be affected.

04 · CANCELLATION & DELETION

Canceling, refunds, and account deletion

• View or cancel Nono Unlimited in Apple subscription settings.
• Apple handles refunds under App Store rules. NonoNotes does not directly handle payment cards or App Store refunds.
• You can permanently delete your Nono account in Account & Membership in the app.
• Deleting the account, signing out, or uninstalling the app does not automatically cancel a subscription. If you have an active subscription, cancel it with Apple before deleting the account.
• Deleting a Nono account does not automatically delete notes on your device or backups in a third-party drive. Manage those separately.

05 · CONTENT & LICENSE

Your content and app license

You retain rights in your notes and other content. You are responsible for having the right to create, import, edit, share, or back up that content and for not infringing another person’s rights. NonoNotes processes content only as needed for features you choose.

The app is licensed, not sold. The scope of the license and the respective responsibilities of Apple and NonoNotes follow Apple’s Standard EULA.

06 · ACCEPTABLE USE

Acceptable use

You may not use the Services unlawfully, infringe another person’s rights, damage or bypass security or membership verification, or interfere with other users or the normal operation of the Services.

07 · THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

Third-party services

Apple, Google Drive, OneDrive, and Baidu Netdisk are provided by third parties and governed by their terms and privacy policies. By connecting a cloud provider, you authorize NonoNotes to perform the backup actions described in the Privacy Policy within the scope you choose. You can disconnect it in NonoNotes and revoke access in the provider’s account settings. Each provider is responsible for its service availability, accounts, content, and payments.

Microsoft provides no warranty for NonoNotes or its OneDrive integration and has no liability arising from NonoNotes’ provision or use of that integration, except where applicable law or your agreement with Microsoft provides otherwise. These terms do not limit consumer rights that cannot be waived.

08 · CHANGES

Changes to the Services or these terms

We may update features or these terms and will provide notice of material changes where applicable through this page, an in-app notice, or release notes. Purchased membership benefits will be provided for the applicable subscription period as described at purchase. These terms do not limit consumer rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.
